I had to replace my mother board on my system and after I did this I was receiving the " unable to start timeshifting no free card available" , after spending a few late hours of seaching through the forums last night and uninstalling reinstalling I gave up until this morning. I checked the error log ( once I realized that the "watchdog.exe" produses the log files I seen this
I am sure that the all my issues are from this
when I did the reinstall this morning going through the motions of test the login SQLServer2005_SSMSEE.msi I didn't get any problems connecting but I still have the problem with

I uninstlled the tv server again ( 10+ times already hehe) and then this time when I ran the setup I put in my HTPCs ( which is this one I am on) ip address and it seems to have connected I currently scanning channels which I wasn't able to do before. the last 9 times I ran the tv server I putting in the name on my HTPC and it would pass the test but wouldn't connect so I am very hopefull tha this is what was going on with my Big fat Fail. I will edit this post once every thing is done scanning hopefuly ( if everything works out like it is supposed to) this wilol help the other noobs like myself with this what seems to be common error.

this confuses me and the on thing that confuses me the most is how media portal decides on the ip address and which IP address should I be using? common sense tells me to use the ip address of where the card is installed which is on this pc but I don't know how to change to my IP address in the tv server?failed to respond 192.168.1.143:31456
