Sorry, this may be be really dumb, but I am about to pull my hair out:

I have set up a few movies in Ant. They appear in My Films, and all looks good.

The problem is, when I click play, I get a pop up saying "My Videos - Insert disk...."

Here is my set up:

MesFilmsv4.2.6a_SVN

Paths for Movies File Search = ;\\TERRA1\share\DVDs

All the other Play Movie Infos fields are [none} or blank (default.)

What am I doing wrong?

TV-Server Version: None
MediaPortal Version: V0.2.3.0 RC1
MediaPortal Skin: FOOFARAW_V1.0.6
Windows Version: Vista 32b
CPU Type: Intel C2D

you have to change your path to

\\TERRA1\share\DVDs\

Than myfilms should find the movies.

The way i do it is to give all my films a certain path in the url line
in ant movie catalog and than point myfilms plugin to this url line.

First picture shows you the ant movie catalaoge with the url file
in which i fill in my path and the second picture shows you how
to setup the plugin ...

you have to point to a certain file, i think for DVD structure
it is a certain .ifo file in the movie folder ...

and in myfilms plugin you have to tell where the movies are ...
so under " Ant item for storage file info " you have to choose "URL"

Maybe this is the only setting and the folder could used, but i think
you can only start with a certain .ifo file.

You are correct. I had to enter "URL" in the plug in field, and had to point to the actual .IFO file.

BTW, I stumbled upon a different way of doing (for me, at least.) Under Play in MP, there are two other buttons, the bottom of which is not labeled. When I clicked on it, it gave me options to Rate and File. Clicking on the File brought up a dialog box through which I could select the .IFO file for the particular movie (even though the cursor acts really funky.)

Thanks again!
