When I record a TV show, it stores a file with the show name, the date, time, and channel. It rarely, if ever, writes a file name containing the season & episode number. Do I have MP set up wrong, or is there a way to automatically look up the season/episode numbers from the filename containing the series name, channel, and air date?

Season/episode/part program info is now part of MP1.1 from what I've read. If you have an earlier version that info isn't part of the tv3 db and/or isn't exposed to the skin for use.

I think there is a new plugin that exposes that info to the EPG if you have MP 1.1 beta+svn.

Thanks, both! I'll try adding the functionality before I switch to 1.1 beta. Wanted to hold off on the 1.1 until it was released, but there are a growing number of reasons to change, even before it's officially released (this being one of them). Thanks again!
