How hard would this be? (1 Viewer)

I was playing around with the my-TV plugin (if you haven't tried it it is amazing) anyway I was looking over the logos function and thought of something I would like for my HT. All of my movies are encoded with XVID in various audio formats (depending on what it had on the dvd) anyway I tend to show alot of movies at my home because my sound system makes the only theater in town sound like ass. I would love to play a video file before each move (toggleable of course) that would show, for instance, the THX trailer... or the DD Trailer, or even a real preview trailer I DL from the Internet (I like going for the full movie theater experience).
So the question is simple, how hard would it be to make a plug-in that reads the audio format (like what the My-TV does using rules) and then plays a video file, that it selects based off of rules, before automatically (and without the GUI popping back up) playing the original video file?

:D

What would be cool would be able to "queue" up mixed events. Like this...

    1. Blank screen.
    2. Play MP3 playlist (time for guests to get settled).
    3. Play trailer.
    4. X10 dim lights.
    5. Play movie.
    6. X10 brighten lights.

    Now that's theater experience.

Maybe that is a feature request we can ask for after the next release happens... and becomes stable.

Anything is possible with MediaPortal if you can code C#.

I wish I could code C# but my two programming classes in C made me want to tear my eyes out. Props to all you coders!
