How is powerscheduler supposed to work...? (1 Viewer)

Though reading the forum, I did not get it:

With TV-server there is now an updated Powerscheduler.

So there is an entry in the server and I am able to configure a "power scheduler client plugin" in MP client application.
So how are these two supposed to interact?!

To keep it simple, I have a one-seat-setup. So MP is on the same PC as the TV-Server.

Of course I do not want the client to suspend that machine is the Server has some scheduled recording.

And of course I do not want the TV-Server to suspend that PC if the MP client is playing my music.

Could someone please comment with some background infos?!
