How to clear EPdatabase in TV Server (1 Viewer)

Hi Guys - can anyone tell me how to clear the EPG database in TV Server?? Thanks.

(Just changed my XMLTV script to allow for daylight savings change but everything that is already in the database is now wrong )

the "grab EPG" button in manual control should clear the EPG.
you can also clear the dbo.Program Table with SQL management Studio

As above, the 'refresh EPG' button in the TV server management console /manual control works great in clearing the whole EPG database and the next grab is fresh.

I have had to use it a couple of times lately as the EPG grabs haven't corectly populated new times or new data in the existing database.

Unfortunately existing schedules don't have their times corrected witht the new data, so double check after the next new grab.

Looks like the Refresh EPG button in Manual Control just clears the EPG. No refreshing since the Tvguide.xml was already imported before "Refreshing" it won't be imported until a new xml file is written...?

Perhaps the button should be renamed to "Clear EPG" or if a reload will be included - "Clear and refresh EPG".

I am not sure - but in my mind this button starts the EPGGrabber (that parses the EIT-EPG) after the database was cleaned up. That means, that the button-text is Ok so far and has nothing to do with XMLTV-imports. They are handled by the XMLTV-plugin itself.

the refresh epg button deletes all EPG data in the database
the TV-Server then notices that there is no data and starts the dvb-epg grabber

if you use XMLTV to get your guide, then you havte to starte the import in this plugin manualy

If you want to re-import an existing xml, just open it in notepad, change one character in a program description and then save.
MP sees this as a new XML and will import it again.
