How to detect the current plugin playing a media? (1 Viewer)

I'm adding some functionality to a plugin and want to use different outputs for different plugins.

So, how can I detect the current plugin that's playing media?

ie. if TV-Series is playing a video, how can I find out that it's TVSeries?
