I'm using media portal just to play videos, not watch tv (i don't watch hardly any live tv)

How can i disable the tv function so it doesn't go through the "waiting for TV ....." on startup ?

Also is there any way of hiding some of the main menu items ( TV, pictures etc)

Thanks, great piece of software and i apprecaite all the work people have put into it :)

Guys, you have ideas o_O... I'm quite sure that the starters of this thread knew how to uninstall an application. Most probably they wanted to know, how to TEMPORARILY disable it.

Here my quick solution: Just rename the TV-server folder in "Program Files (x86)\Team Media Portal" to something else!

    best regards

Can't understand the problem... Just disable TV and Radio Plugin in Config (not hiding them, really disable...!). Then there is no "Waiting for TV Service..." any more as this is done by TV Plugin...

They are found in the Plugin section of the Media Portal Configuration tool.
