How to force an XMLTV load (1 Viewer)

Hi,

Just did a new install to get to TVE3. Tried installing the SchedulesDirect plugin, but that causes error. So trying to find a solution so that I can keep TVE3 for now.. I used XMLTV in the past, so that was easy to revive.

Configuration is done in the TV Server Config (changed the path, nothing else?).. But how do I trigger a load? I think there used to be a menu option in MP -> TV Guide, but can't find that

The server will look for a new tvguide.xml every minute. If it was already loaded and you want to reload it without downloading a new xmltv file you can open tvguide.xml in notepad and press ctrl+s for save and the tvserver will reload it within a minute.
Also be sure that the xmltv.dtd is in the same directory.

OMG! I had the same problem as you, til I found the menu for enabling the XMLTV plugin. Talk about bad user design with zero intuition. Aw, anyway It works now so I guess I should be happy
