How to get a Hauppauge remote working (1 Viewer)

Hi guys

Can you offer any help on how to get a Hauppauge remote working with Media Portal?

I bought the remote as a 'remote kit' - so no card. Just the IR receiver, blaster and remote.

I have MP1.0 installed with MP Streamer. I also installed the driver suggested in the Media Portal config, but whenever Media Portal is exited, I get a crash message.

Also, most of the buttons dont work on the remote.

Is there a better way of setting it up and getting it working?

Oh, I am using Vista Home Premium and I have disabled Vista Media Centre too.

Think this is a mce clone, as it has a usb connection, so i suspect the ehome driver may be needed.

Thanks for the quick reply. It does install the driver straight away and seems to use the ehome drivers. The trouble is, when I press the green button, it loads up Vista Media Centre and not Media Portal.

How can I re-map the buttons?

MPTray or MPTrayMod if you have focus issues with first, don't forget to activate the exe once extracted and installed, or nothing will happen until you reboot.
