How to get the best image quality in MP ? (1 Viewer)

Hello guys,

i've been fiddling around for a while now with the differents settings of MP, ffddshow et my graphic card's, and finally noticed that the image quality was better when using MPC-HC as an external player. But unfortunaltely, using an external player has a few drawbacks , like the lost of many useful functions of MP and full screen issues.

Therefore, i would be interested in getting as many opinions as possible and sharing tips on how to get the best possible picture quality (even better than with MPC-HC?) in Media Portal, with the minimum of disadvantages.

I'm looking forward to read and share ideas.

You should try the search button. There are a lot of threads about that topic. BUT in the end its all about your equipment.
Some get better results with codec A, others with codec B.

You might have a look at SAF ( codec "pack" created for MP )
