How to install IntelligentFrameCorrection 0.9.5.3 (1 Viewer)

Hi,

I ve tried to install IntelligentFrameCorrection_0.9.5.3.MPE1 but I ve got an error under 1.1.0 beta.
How to install?

and sorry that was really very short. Here comes the whole story:

I am using Windows XP and I have tried MP 1.0.2 but had several problem with it. Now I have MP 1.1.0 beta and it works very well. But I hate that frog faces at 4:3 format when optimize for 16:9 (My TV).

I found the Mediaportal_IntelligentFrameCorrection_0.9.5.3.MPE1 which should solve this. I downloaded it and opened it by double click:

The following status windows and errors occured:
1) (Statuswindow): This is old format file. MpiInstaller will be used to install it! - I click OK
2) (Statuswindow): Das System kann die angegebene Datei nicht finden (file cannot be found) - I click OK
3) (Statuswindow):
bei System.Diagnostics.Process.StartWithShellExecuteEx(ProcessStartInfo startInfo) bei System.Diagnostics.Process.Start()
bei System.Diagnostics.Process.Start()
bei System.Diagnostics.Process.Start(ProcessStartInfo startInfo)

- I click OK, thats it.

Edit: I can also open the file with 7ZIP - but whats next?

Try Open with... (in the right click menu) and point it to the MPInstaller inside the Mediaportal root folder. Maybe it's trying to open it with something else, like an old version.

thanks a lot, windows tried to open it with MpeInstaller.exe not MPInstaller.exe thats indeed a little difference.
Now I was able to install it - thanks ...

unfortunately i cannot see if its implemented or not. The TV Screen is as it was before.
I have the same settings in screen format then before.

4:3 material should by default show in correct aspect, with black bars at the side on 16:9 TV. No plugin needed.

Do you have the aspect ratio set to normal?

Hi x4mer,

I've set normal, yes. If I set normal and look at a 4:3 Channel then nothing happens. Then I restart MP and look at the same TV channel it is o.k.. Then I change to a channel with a 16:9 resolution - with the same bars left and right as it was at 4:3. Then I restart MP again - now the 16:9 channel is correct. This seems to be bullshit, sheepshit at least .

btw I have a 16:9 Screen, but that was clear, wasn't it.
