Hi,

I am using a Soundgraph iMON Remote Control (with a Silverstone GD01S-MXR case).
I have a mapping file (*.IMO file) that supports most of the MP functions, but not the MyTV, MyMusic, MyVideos etc.

Do you know how to map RC buttons to these MP functions?

Regards,
Akis

Hi Lafaki - I have an iMon, and I think I have these buttons mapped correctly, but will have to check when I am home tonight. If I recall correctly, you need to delete the default mapping that comes with the iMon software, to free the keys up so you can map them to the activities in Media Portal.

I will check tonight, and let you know how I did it (if I did :) )

    Hi,
i've made a guide to configure Imon remote with MP (only in italian but the screenshots should help you) and it will help you mapping those buttons to the remote with the help of the Shortcut'er plugin (u can find the link to the plugin page in this guide).

    with shortcut'r plugin

    there's a guide here
MediaPortal - Setup guide for Silverstone LC16M Case | iMon Remote Setup, iMon VFD Setup, iMon Front Button Hack

I suggest only mapping the coloured buttons. I had this config as described in the link above and it created issues with basichome and zoom button, as it seems to map some of the keys inaccurately

    - mapping 'b' to Basichome means every time you press Stop it will go to Basichome screen (possibly by design)
    - mapping 's' to teletext means that zoom wont work (no idea why he suggests this, possibly the keymap has changed since it was written)

    etc
