i have Hauppauge Nova-T (7146), works fine with original drivers and software, with technotrend drivers and technotrend media center is it ok either. Both works with infrared remote.
But both software sucks as real media centers, so i tried Win MCE, MediaPortal and several others. All of them are unable to work with remote. WinLirc is neither capable of detecting remote.
I have installed latest drivers, older drivers, combinations of technotrend and ir from hauppauge ...
I am frustrated, nothing helps. Has anyone some advice?
