    Hi !

    I just bought a ALLNET2282 IP WebCam.
The cam offers live video on a rtsp stream (rtsp://ipaddress/mpeg4)

How can I play this stream within MP??

I would try to set it up as radio stream! In the early days of MP (before the online video plugin), I used to watch different web streams this way. And despite the name, it played both audio and video just fine. Might be worth a try. An alternative could be, including it possibly into 'online video', but I am not sure if you can add streams to it.

    hope that helps

Sorry, but this does not work (any more).
I can only play the RTSP stream in VLC player - no other player works with this.
Heard that it is a matter of the matching codec/filter. So I guess I will give up ;-(

I tried OnlineVideos but rtsp is disabled by default as there are no filters for rtsp an tsreader seams to work only with the mediaportal streams.
As RTSP MUST be a some kind of general protocol I am wondering why the standard players in windows don't support it?

    However

    Thanx André
