    Hi,

I'm trying to figure out how to manually adapt the Video/Audio PIDs of scanned DVB-S channels.
When editing the channel, I'm only able to change the PmtPID. I don't see any reference to the specific video and audio PIDs. Can these be set somewhere?

    Thanks for the quick feedback.
Is there anyway of knowing what is actually decoded?
Reason I'm asking is that I recently added ITV HD to my tv list. It found the channel with SID 10510 and the PMT is also correct 3400. But somehow, each time I want to look at the channel, it comes back telling me there is no video/audio to decode. In TVServer, I get the message: "Preview failed:NoVideoAudioDetected".

I've added my TV.log of TVServer with the section in it where it is trying to tune in on the channel.
The error is also displayed in the log but I can't seem to find where it is going wrong.

    Can you help?

    Peter

    Hi

I am having the same problem as Pletskop with ITV HD having just upgraded to MP1 Final and installed the Sky/Freesat EPG version of tswriter.ax

    Thanks in advance

    Just for clarity sake.
I've had this issue with ITV HD regardless of the version. I started of with RC4 and then upgraded to 1.0. I both cases MP tells me it can't detect audio/video.
    I've also tried various TSWriters:
    1. RC4 + packaged TSWriter => not able to scan for ITV HD
    2. RC4 + TSWriter mentioned in the various ITV HD threads [dman code] => scan possible but no audio/video for ITV HD
    3. 1.0 + packaged TSWriter => scan possible but no audio/video for ITV HD
    4. 1.0 + Skynet/Freesat EPG version of TSWriter => scan possible but no audio/video for ITV HD

tourettes... this is getting somewhat of topic if you look at the original subject. Do you want me to restart the thread? Possibly in another are of the forum?

Thanks a lot for your help,

    Peter

    More or less fixed

    Hi,

I reverted to using the PVD8 codec instead of CoreAVC and now I'm getting audio/video on ITV HD.
Strange... wouldn't have thought the codec would have mattered in this situation.

For me at least... this issue is resolved/fixed.
