Can anyone offer any guidance for using MediaControl to emit IR signals? The text here:
WinLIRC - MediaPortal Wiki
seems to suggest you can, however when you select 'enable WINLIRC for output to external devices',
the Information is not very clear, as mentioned in the previous post.

Can anyone help?

Thanks,

h

AW: Re: How to setup winLIRC on MediaPortal

I've the same problem - can anyone tell me how i can mapp winlirc and mediaportal ?
i think i have to edit the file, winlirc is using as config, but how ?

WinLirc reacts to the signals of the remote with a green icon - but mediaportal does nothing.
