How to: Subscription Activation DVB/S (1 Viewer)

I bought a new subscription smartcard from cana digitaal (nl). To activate this mediaguard encrypted service, I've to tune to a scrambled channel (SBS6) and wait for the activation signal to update my card.

How can I do this with tv-engine 3? When I tune to SBS6, tv-server start to timeshift, but shortly after that it stops saying channel is encrypted.

How to force tv-server to stay tuned to this channel for 60 minutes to have my subscription activated?

With my FireDTV-S I used FireDTV Viewer to tune to SBS6 and waited for the activation signal for my smartcard, this worked.

I think there should be an option in TV-Server Configuration to force tuning to a frequency; even if this channel is scrambled or no signal. This way people can activate smartcards and even upgrade firmware of their cams!

Devs, what's ur opinion on this?

Install DvbViewer again and use it for that purpose. I update my cards in settop-boxes when needed, and they normally "last" 1-2 months in between.

But I agree though, it should be doable within MP.
