how to install plugins on media portal

Hi,
depends on the plugin. Simply copy the dll to
/Team Media Portal/MediaPortal/Plugins/Windows/ or
/Team Media Portal/MediaPortal/Plugins/Process/
This should be stated in a readme or something similar.
After that the plugin should show up in Configure->Plugins->Windows/Process. You now only need to enable and configure it.

FYI, you can also play with these settings: show TV Server Configuration shortcut => Right-click => Properties => Compatibility => Change High DPI settings
That way you don't have to change the whole scaling of Windows just for this particular application

Was just looking at Ad Removal - Comskip and note:
- MP1 only
- 4 The Record 1.3.3 seems to no longer exist
Question: Does anybody have pointers as to how I/we can setup or install something to automatically remove ads during playback on MP2?

This is for the tvserver, the iptv part.
It used to only support m3u files containing all the channels, but now you can use a m3u8 too.
Usually you get an m3u8 from your iptv provider, but there are also some that can be found on the internet

I read about [MP1-5236] - Add support for m3u8 files, but I can't find info on how to use this.
So, where and how can I use...
I currently have two Quatros running, one connect, one duo using OTA antennae, mostly UHF fringe area, mostly cat5 local network.
Hauppauge card retired long ago. I have also retired very early SD units, the Quatros seem to work much better than the older units.
