HOWTO download Black Glass SVN using TortoiseSVN (1 Viewer)

Hi!

This post shows how to use TortoiseSVN to download the latest svn version of the Black Glass skins.

These are the required steps for BLACK GLASS:

• Download TortoiseSVN
• Install
• Reboot
• Open your Mediaportal skin folder, usually "C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\skin"
• Remove any folder called "Black Glass"
• Create a new folder called "Black Glass"
• Right click on "Black Glass" folder and select "SVN Checkout"
• Enter "http://blackglass.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/Black Glass" for "URL of repository"
• Select 'HEAD revision' for 'Revision'
• Click 'OK'. TortoiseSVN will download the skin.
• To download the updates of the skin, Right click on "Black Glass" folder and select "SVN Update"
• Remember to delete the Mediaportal cache folder (usually "C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\Cache") every time you update the skin.

• Right click on "Black Glass Nova" folder and select "SVN Checkout"
• Enter "http://blackglass.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/Black Glass Nova" for "URL of repository"
• Select 'HEAD revision' for 'Revision'
• Click 'OK'. TortoiseSVN will download the skin.
• To download the updates of the skin, Right click on "Black Glass Nova" folder and select "SVN Update"
• Remember to delete the Mediaportal cache folder (usually "C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\Cache") every time you update the skin.

Hallo TGX,

I want only Up Date the Skin. But I can not find the Menue Entry "SVN Update".
I Have form the Menue Tortoisesvn an the "Export" Option an have copy the interesting files.


How can I Update direct.

You have to follow the instructions point by point and the "SVN update" will appear.

Sorry, it´s work.
SVN Update its only possible if the Skin Folder produce first with SVN Checkout (after delte the Skin Folder) not before.

Are there any new things added in the latest SVN or only bug fixes
