sidenote
When converting to handbrake from a .mov to h.264 the resulting h.264 looks great in wmp but looks like this in vlc. Since im not a video guy I was wondering if anyone had any tips (In handbrake I used the Regular > Normal preset).

That sound more a problem with VLC if it plays correctly under Windows Media Player to me.
