here's the deal. Case: Arctic Cooling Silentium T1 with seasonic powersupply (got it for free) http://www.arctic-cooling.com/pics/products/4_big.jpg Mobo: Asus A7N8X-XE (just bought it yesterday) Audio: C-Media CMI9761 onboard with S/Pdif out CPU: AMD Athlon XP2100+ (leftover from former pc) Memory: 2x 256MB Twinmos DDR400 (leftover from former pc) Vid.card: Ati Radion 7200 or Geforce2 4200 (leftovers, not sure which one to use) TV-Card: Hauppage PVR150 MCE (with FM) Remote: Palm Butler/PCZapper basic (earned it) http://www.pczapper.tv/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=3&Itemid=4 HDD: Seagate BarracudaII 20GB Ultra Ata (to start with, leftover). DVD player: Pioneer 109D DVD burner (leftover from former pc) I had a bit of spare time yesterday to insert the mobo in the case with most of the parts and updated the bios and started with some CPU recognizing problems. When i just wanted to call it a day, i saw that i had to change the frontside bus with jumpers (how old!!). Anyhow.. fixed that. So tonight i'm in for the WinXP +SP2 install, get all hardware up to date with latest drivers, make a ghost image and start installin MP 0.2RC. Actually i want to use almost every feature, MP has to offer, including skype, timeshift, tvguide and tv recording. I expect some problems with the remote controller (PCzapper), because i have to try a plugin for that one. Wish me luck! I'll keep you all up to date for problems i might get.
