HVR-1100 no longer working (1 Viewer)

Had everything working perfectly, but a MOBO failure had me rebuilding a new machine. Re-installed everything but now I can't get my Hauppauge HVR-1100 to work. I get the "Unable to create graph" error when I add the card and go into tuning. Checked with graphedit and the graph indeed looks strange, with most of the filters unconnected. My other card, a HVR-1100MCE works perfectly. Looking at the entries in the capturecarddefinitions.xml file, the entries for the HVR-1100 and the HVR-1100MCE look exactly the same, so why does only one of them work? I tried downgrading the hauppauge drivers from 4.0 to 3.3c. Also tried re-installing MP, but no luck. Frustrating, since it worked fine before. What could be wrong? Logs attached showing one error and the two very different looking graphs.

Please help!

Works if only one card???

I pulled out the 1100MCE and re-installed. Now the 1100 worked fine, so there is nothing wrong with the card. Put the 1100MCE back in. Windows finds the drivers at start-up. I enter MP config to add the card without problem. I select the 1100 and hit edit and get the "Unable to create graph"!

So the HVR-1100 only works when the 1100MCE is not installed. Any ideas please??? I have tried swithing PCI slots, but haven't tried all combinations. Could that be a likely cause of this problem?

Looking at the corrupt graph, it is the Video Capture filter that looks strange.

Don't you have to have the full Hauppauge installation for these to work correctly (needs all the codec\filters).

You may also need the dvbfix from here

Thanks, I do have the full Hauppauge software set installed, including the Soft MCE encoder. I also have the dvbfix installed.

I have tried a few more combinations of moving the cards around the PCI slots. I found one, where I don't get the "Unable to create graph" error, but the tv picture was just black. So it seems the PCI slot has some effect. I'll keep trying different combinations. Any other ideas?

    Thanks,
    Michael

Finally gave up. Since I won't be able to record from two software encoding cards at the same time anyway, I ditched the HVR-1100 and got a second HVR-1300. So now I have two HVR-1300 and one HVR-1100MCE and it seems to work fine so far...
