I installed TV-server and SQL Express but failed to follow the guide :( considering sa password. After installing another instance of SQL Express the first step of the installation worked fine. However, when the configuration window opened, none of my capture cards are recognised, see attached screendump TV-server.jpg. In regular MP TV both are recognised fine although the AIW gets "cannot build graph" error message (not important as I don't use the capture functionality of that card), see MP.jpg.

Both devices are configured and are functional according to device manager. What has happened? I'd be grateful for any input, this is really vexing.

    Hi,
Try to set it as "Master", then you should have the rest in there (see pic 2 from left)

    Hi Roy,

Thx for your quick reply. I'm not quite sure I follow you, though. The rightmost picture shows the empty server list - the computer is not detected as a server.

But hang on! I exited TV Server Configuration, opened up services and restarted the TVService, all of a sudden my computer shows up in the server list! It all seems to work now, no idea why TVService wouldn't "serve" correctly from the beginning...

This may be a bug, is there any way to log the service?
