This is a pretty widespread issue, and now i'm getting it too. Having it fixed would be a lot better than having to buy another tuner card.
The HVR-2200 seems to have issues switching back from analogue to digital, and it appears it will 'kill' the tuner. In a previous test i occupied one tuner with recording digital, and then switching back from analogue to digital 'killed' the second tuner. When i stopped recording on the first tuner i could watch TV on that one fine, until i did the same thing and killed that one too. Unfortunately i didn't get the full logs for this.
I've tried reproducing it and got most of what happened before until MP froze and i had to end task. Heres what i did
Tuned TV to One (DVB-T). Recorded.
Tuned to TV 3 (DVB-T).
Switched to TV 2 (analogue)
Switched to TV 3 (DVB-T). Mediaportal gives the 'cannot start timeshifting' error.
Switched to TV 2 (analogue). Mediaportal freezes with not responding (left for 2mins)
Log files attached.
