I could n`t react on this topic:
https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/...ge-s2-hd-symbolrate-30000-a-68010/index3.html
So that`s why I start an new one.

What`s the problem?
The tuner cannot find the HD channels (SD mpeg4 channel like "tv-noord-holland" is no problem). With an import from a other person I now have the HD channels in my list but the don`t work. With the stand alone decoder everthing works so there is a signal.
The topic here above suggest that it should be solved?

Who as (great) ideas?

    Hi Tazzios

First, please check that you have enabled "enable DVB-S2 channels tuning/scanning". If you don't enable that then the HD channels won't be found.
Second, I would advise you not to import the channel list from somebody else. Did you map all the channels to your tuner? (Go to the mapping section, select the HVR-4000 satellite tuner up the top, select all the channels on the left, then click ">".)

If those two suggestions don't help then please tell me what satellite you are trying to scan and post full logs.

"enable DVB-S2 channels tuning/scanning" was checked. I search for HD channel on Hotbird(13E) and the astra`s(19.2,23.5,28.2). I get channels except the HD.
I also mapped the channel, when I forgot i got the error no card available.

    The log
I made a new log here is the explanation of what i did
    1. Start tv with a MPEG2 SD channel "RTL5" result: TV
    2. Go to an HD MPEG4 channel "RTL4 HD" ( i think) result: no signal
    3. Zap to a MPEG4 channel "TV Gelderland" result: TV

    Hi Tazzios

The scan parameters that you're using for that transponder with all the HD channels are wrong. This is the danger of getting a channel list from somebody else - I *always* recommend scanning in the channels yourself. Please do a manual scan with the following parameters:

    DiSEqC: level1BA
    Band: Ku-linear (universal)
    Frequency: 11856000
    Symbol rate: 27500
    Polarisation: vertical
    Modulation: QPSK
    Inner FEC rate: 5/6
    Pilot: off
    Roll-off: .35

If that doesn't help then let me know.
If it does help then I recommend you delete all the channels and scan them in again from scratch, else you could have more channels that won't work until you fix the parameters.

    No results :(

    also tried QPSK2

    and:
    DiSEqC: level1AB (astra 19.2)
    Band: Ku-linear (universal)
    Frequency: 10832000
    Symbol rate: 22000
    Polarisation: Horizontal
    Modulation: QPSK
    Inner FEC rate: 2/3
    Pilot: off
    Roll-off: .35

The reason that i used someone else his settings was that I hoped that the HD channels should work. Before that i scanned all the satellite`s myself

    Hmmmm :(

I'm about to go to bed. Just wanted to quickly say that your parameters for the second transponder are wrong again. Use:

    DiSEqC: level1AB (astra 19.2)
    Band: Ku-linear (universal)
    Frequency: 10832000
    Symbol rate: 22000
    Polarisation: Horizontal
    Modulation: 8 PSK
    Inner FEC rate: 2/3
    Pilot: on
    Roll-off: .35

Are you able to tune these transponders in other software with the same tuner?

The dvbs2patch broke also channels that where working so I deleted the drivers and sat reg settings(from the patch) and installed dvbviewer. DVBviewer had the channels already installed. I found a free HD channel (1080P ) that worked. I didn`t get the softcam working so I don`t know if the Canal digitaal channels work.

I also deleted all the channels in MP. But with scanning I only found 290 TV channels in total on 19.2 and 23.5.
So i thought it is an signal problem and i try the loop through connection from my tuner.
I put the tuner on "rtl 4 HD" and scanned the 23.5 but didn`t find any additional channels.

So I`m not much wiser
I think I gonna try to aim the wavefrontier and maybe buy an other DVB-S2 card and use the hauppauge for DVB-T and DVB-S.
