Just curious....
Being that MP has a slideshow capability already in My Pictures, and separately, a playlist capability in the music and video sections. Why does the image slideshow playlist feature seem to be missing? Besides being able to set up slideshows from across image folders, one could also resolve, in part, the issue of duplicate image files in multiple fanart and background folders for each skin. All could be held in a common root folder (in sub-folders) and reference the various skin section backgrounds by setting up a playlist in the My Pictures section, and call it from the appropriate skin xml. The slideshow playlist could be set up to display images on a per file or per folder (all files in folder are displayed) basis.
Just a thought... that could be expanded further.... (?) ... Any programmers up to the task?
