Imdb.es is now available. I checked it and some information is missing (plots...) but maybe you can consider it for inclusion in newer movingpictures version .
There are some problems with IMBD.es.
It has the same covers that you find in IMDB.com, so the covers are mainly in english.
But the biggest problem (in my opinion) is the missing plots. I prefer the argument in spanish or english before no argument at all.
So (for now) we have 3 options to get all the information, backdrops included:
We can use IMDB.com and get the covers and plots in english or,
We can use IMDB.com first and then rescan again with Alpacine or FilmAffinity or
We can use the scrapper I made (you can find it in this forum) that is not perfect but works fine in most of the cases.
I haven't tested in deep the new options of Moving Pictures Beta 1, but none of the spanish scrappers included get the backdrops, and I've found an error in FilmAffinity scrapper that prevents from getting the covers. (I will report an issue, but I think that there are some more problems).
with Moving Pictures 1.0 beta you should be able to do the following:
1) have a IMDB.es scraper as your primary source (make sure if something is missing there that the scraper will not fill the field)
2) set the normal IMDB as your secondary source
Now on import it will find your movie on IMDB.es and fill the missing fields using the normal IMDB automatically and also the third, fourth provider (user definable). For this fallthrough system to work all included scripts have to have some sort of way to relate to the actual IMDB id. Imho, I consider the google guess (title lookup) a bad practise.
Yes, works, thanks. Deselecting "Prefer multichannel audio streams" under "Video Player" (under "Players") gives me the stereo stream, by default, in television also. Thanks for your help. N.

Is there a way to set the default audio stream for live TV? The default default, so to speak, for me seems to be English...
What's the best way to select a different backdrop?
Sometimes the first selected backdrop is not great and I'd like to select another.
Moving Pictures scales down the high res pictures and shrinks the filesize as well so I can't just go to fanart or themoviedb and get the images without doing some extra work to get the file right...

Hello all,
Recently I have been having a few problems importing movies to Moving Pictures using the IMDB+ plugin (missing fields) so I have decided to have a go at creating an XML based on the XBMC Local xml. This has not been tested with multi languages and it has been configured for my personal collection. I'm hoping it will work...
