i have an IMON VFD and Remote (connected via USB).
i also have Girder installed (was using it for another project)

is there a way i can use my IMON remote to control MP?
and as a secondary task... get MP to display relevant stuff on the VFD ?

If you do a search on the forum on LCD plugin you'll find the plugin to drive the iMON VFD, the LCD plugin is built in in MP and is called "External Display".

For the iMON remote there are a couple of setting files to use and can be found in the forum also.. other way is to open up the iMON configuration and setup your iMON remote to use the keyboard keys in MP ;-)

If you want to fully use your iMON remote with the My DVD, My Movie buttons etc. I recommend you also do a search on the plugin "My Keys".

I use the IMON remote but I made a few changes to the config to add better functionality (guide button, next previous stuff, OSD) but I can't find where imon is storing the config file or how to export it. Anyone know where that thing hides?

it stores it in C:\documents and setting\all users\application data (or local settings\application data) and then in the soundgraph folder.... you should see a file called "mediaportal.imo"
