Find the folder "IR Server Suite\Input Service\Abstract Remote Maps\iMon" and thange its name to iMon USB.
Sorry that I forgot to mention that earlier.
I will talk to chemelli to incorporate this change in the next release of IRSS.

After renaming the directory the abstract model files are loaded. Unfortunately I'm still not able to get any remote key in debug client.

I'm also not able to make any key of the remote work with imon manager if I set MCE as a remote in it and setting my harmony remote as MCE, so I suspect that it is not possible to use the IMON version mounted on my Thermaltake DH-101 with an MCE remote. I will maybe try with an older version of imon manager (i'm currently using the 7.40).

One question: is it possibile to use irss with imon HID configured as Imon and not as MCE?

If MCE isn't recognised in iMON Manager, then it's very likely, that it won't function at all.
IRSS does NOT retrieve iMON commands through the iMON driver nor the iMON Manager but gets them directly from the hardware. So it seems that your hardware isn't able to retrieve MCE commands.

Try to configure your remote as iMON PAD, as well as setting RM200 in iMON Manager as well as in Input Service or IRServer.

please remove iMON software and install it again. Is it asking you if you have a MCE or a iMON PAD ? If so mce is supported by your hardware, if nothing is asked your receiver can work only in iMON PAD mode.

I've seen that the newest build should support IMON HID Devices... how do i use it? I've installes IR Server Suite selected Server mod for HID and IMon devices through setup - what next / now?

You have to uninstall old one + delete all ProgramData\IR Suite Server and ProgramFiles\IR Suite Server. Reboot.
Then install latest.

You hsould find IR Server already configured with the "abstract layer tick", if not enable it.
Open the debug client and config codes are received.
Please take care that this is working only for iMON PAD and not for MCE.

Have i to stop IMON Software?

What I do here is remove iMON from autostart using msconfig.exe and perform a windows restart.

thanks for your answer - i've only IMON Pad remotes on my 4 machines - so this is OK. I've exactly done what you describe IRSS was never installed before so i did not clean up these folders

Any idea how to debug? Shoudl the IMON Pad work out of the bbox in mouse or keyboard mode also under windows or only in MP?

Hi Chemelli.
Thanks for your imon HID update. I have imon disablet from startup, but soon the be deleted. You can see my HID firmware to the left.
A few minor things that isn't working properly.
1. My mouse pad - is used as mouse, should be used as arrows.
2. Skip number to left and right is switched. Left is right and opposit.
3. Eject cd does not work - niether of the two of them.
4. The power button is sending my htpc into sleep mode, would it be possible to change it for hibernate and then make it turn it on. Like it would work with imon manager?

Hi,

I get notice from this plugin/extension and would give it a try, because I'm not so happy with the Imon software.

I have a SilverStone GD01S-MXR (imon 7.2 ; Hardware Ver 0x98) .

I installed the suite and set it to iMon USB wit Pad. But it seems that the Server don't get the right messages, if I press "down" Server executes two comands: down & right!

ImonManager was disabled!

I tested it with my Harmony and with the original ImonPad, same result.

Hi Simone,

I've done everything you told me but same result. Imon PAD does not work at all - only mouse but this also works if nothing is started (neither imon nor irs) (i think normal behaviour of an HID device).

What to do now?

you are having the exact issues i have with IRSS and is not you fault...atm IRSS is working only with some Imon devices (no matter if is HID or DOS device --IRSS it has different behavior based on the firmware versio) but hang in there,we are working to find a solution for all the Imon devices (thx belcom).
