iMon VFD showing random characters (1 Viewer)

After trying to install the new RC2 of MP and having it loop on the download DirectX and then crash i did a ghost backup and have found that now the iMon VFD won't show english characters. I just get scrolling of é,á,ő,ú,ű,_,-,+,= e.t.c.

I haven't had time to play with updating any files as i've had to head away for a few days, but has anyone had this problem or can point me in the right direction so i know where to start looking when i get back?

Hi.

This is a known iMon bug and has nothing to do with MP. There a some threads in the Soundgraph support forums (search for "alien characters"), but there is no real solution.

Seems like it's a problem with the USB standby power of some motherboards (I got this problem with Asus A7N8X). Try to unplug and replug your PC. This should help.

Cheers, seems that a full power off fixed it. I restarted many times, but the restart must not power off things properly. It's odd that it has never happened in over a year and then did.

Either way it's fixed so i can forget about it.
