Import and display of movies and tv-series (1 Viewer)

Hi!

I'm new to both mediaportal and the forum, so don't slap me if I make a suggestion that has already been addressed.

I would like to have a more customizable my videos plug-in.
I have previously used Meedio and, although it takes a looooooot of time to setup the perfect interface, the result is very satisfying.

The thing I in particular miss is the possibility to make different databases with video files (and other).

I would like to be able to make, for instance, a menu item named Family guy with sub-groups for the different seasons.

For the movie plug-in, I think, a great idea would be to make it possible to enable an option called: “Movies are in foldersâ€. In that way one could place movies divided into different files in a folder by the name of the movie. One could also place cover art in the same folder and the importer would automatically associate the (stacked) file(s) with the cover.

If it is possible to make a setup like this, please fill me in

Yes, but it seems that the plug-in is tied to english or other wise widely spread tv-shows. As it seems now it can only import shows which are listed at some website.

What I think needs in MP is a file importer not linked to a specific type of video files. To an importer like that a supplemental plug-in could then download information about the files.

My Tv-series is a great idea and I look forward to the day it is completed.
