Hi,

I'm not sure if this is something anyone can really help with, however whenever I try and import my TV episodes the importer goes as normal. I get prompted for a few episodes like "s01" or something. (sub note: is it possible to browse the directory of the file during the search?) ; anyway I get a few like that but no where even remotely close as stated below, and than TV series completes.

Then if I go and check the "manual import" section I will see pretty much all of my episodes still there. TV Series seems to grab between 1 and 5 episodes per season and skips the rest even though they are all named in the same sort of format (per season anyhow)

I should also mention I have not tampered with any of the pre-defined filters.

Any help on getting this to work properly would be great!
Thanks :)

Hi thanks for replying.

I have since learned that I must have the series title in the episode filename in order for it to be detected. I had a lot of series/seasons that only listed as s0XeX and no additional info. I had figured the plugin would also read the folder names.

I have renamed accordingly and have much better success. :)

I still have 2 problems however.

1. How or Is it possible to add custom shows? I have a lot of TV specials that are not part of any particular "series" and probably don't even have a proper name.

2. I notice for some of the series that DID get added that the download of images fails. This does not occur for all series and only for a few. Is there a way to resolve this or is this an issue with the TV database server?

Error appears something like:
... New Episode Image Found for "...name_of_series" ...etc
... Episode Thumbnail download failed (http://thetvdb.com....etc)

That will go on for every image in the series.

Any help would be great!
Thanks! :)

If you have files only named s01e01.avi and similar, you should get them mapped if you place them in a folder w/the name of the series, and add somthin like:
    <series>\s<season>e<episode>.<ext>
No clue about 1 or 2 :sorry:
