Import old recorings into new db? (1 Viewer)

I've built a new system with 1.1.0 and a recent SVN on it, all installed from scratch on a new Win7 PC. What I'd like to do is get my recordings from my old PC which was 1.0.1 into the new installation. So is there an easy-ish way to do this? I'm guessing I need to somehow export stuff from the SQL Server Db on the 1.0.1 installation and import it into the MySQL DB on the new installation, tweaking where necessary. Anyone done similar? I'm not at all familiar with MySQL so any tips welcomed...

It's in the manual - see TV-Server/Configuration/Recording - MediaPortal Manual Documentation -> Database import (just point it at the folder containing the old recordings)

Hi Tony - aha - not 100% what I'm after, but it will probably do... thanks.

Not sure what you need then, but the only thing (as far as I know) that you lose with this method is the 'viewed' status - you get the recording date/time/channel/synopsis imported, since this data is part of the .xml file which is created with each recording.
