Hi,

Is there anyway to import *.ts files into the MyTV recorded shows section. I have quite a few files which don't don't appear in the list.

Thanks

not much of a workaround... but to do this i copy the files in to a folder called something like 'tv to watch' and then add that folder to the my videos section.

i also tend to process them through project x, mpeg2schnitt, and then remux to mpeg2 files... to get rid of adds and the recording slack....

.ts files will work just as well tho

Sounds like you have deleted MP TV database and those old recordings are not added to the new database.

Yeah I been trying CVS builds, and some of them don't work for me, so when I copy the backup the DB is obviously out of date.

    Hola!

I have a similar problem. The shows get recorded, the files appear on hard drive but they are not listen under "Recordings". As they would not have been added to the database.

I've also added the "Recordings" folder to the "My Videos" list but when I click on the file nothing happens. It is not played.

    Anybody please?

    Regards,
    Simon

I don't know about MP2 but as you said you tried MP1 too, how is the MP music config ? MP(1) will only use LAV if you select "Internal DirectShow player" as music output, but then you lose gapless playback. If you you don't have multichannel music you can choose WASAPI as the output and set the number of speakers to stereo. I have...

Hi. I was probably being a bit fast and loose with my terminology. I meant "somewhere within the files that MP2 uses in its database". Anyway, I found a way to do this which was far from automated but relatively low effort. I found what looked like all the images (CD covers, DVD covers, backgrounds etc all lumped together in...

Actually, you just reminded me of how I have handled this in the past: I merged the contents of an old export.xml with a new one to make a complete file containing the old values I needed and the new values I didn't want to change. Why should it matter if the export file is missing some values? I would expect the import process to...
