With every MP recording there is an accompanying XML file. You could try to create an XML file for the recording, then go into the TV-Server config under Recording Options-> Database (I think) and there you will find an import utility. Make sure your recordings are in your designated recordings directory.
As for the format of the XML, you might record something with MP to see the layout...
I'll check it out this weekend sometime and see if there's something I can do with it. In the meantme, if anyone has any ideas...I'm all ears! I'm liking MP a lot, but it's still early in its lifespan in my home.

Today my PVR disk died, taking with it a load of old recorded TV programmes. I swapped in a spare drive but I see that MP2 still thinks the old recordings exist. I expected the metadata for the recordings to be in same folder as the PVR but apparently not.

OK, I found a way to make it work. It seems like MP-TV-series Configuration (and Moving Pictures Configuration) starts as Administrator, and the Administrator do not have yet logged in on the UNC \\192.168.222.247\Public even if the normal user on the PC have done it.
