Hi,

New user here. Tried using the Moving Pictures importer but it just hangs. My files are located on a mapped network drive. Is there a trick to getting them to be read by the moving pictures importer?

Thanks in advance,

Use the network location not the mapped location and see, I always have problems using mapped locations.

If I try to use the IP address, it says it's not a valid path.

Nevermind, it was the nfo scanenr causing it to hang. Problem solved.

Also clear your "log" folder before running the import. In the backend importer (from the Configuration/Plugins/MovingPictures), there's a setting for ignored files you can try to disable. I'm using Mediaportal right now, so can't check exactly how it's worded. Emph
