I like to test out the new patches and new SVN files so therefore I reload MP here and there. The problme I have is I don't want to use an older database, I want to start new. However, I do want to import all my recorded shows into the new database. I know I can back up the database and then restore the database, but is there a way to import DVR-MS files into MP? Maybe I have media center files that I would like to import. If there a way to do this?

I've reinstalled a few times recently and it pulls recorded show's in with one side effect, you lose the duration, ie every file is 0.00, but plays fine.
If that's ok with you, can delete database quite happily and start with a clean system.
