In the making: MyGoogleMail (1 Viewer)

Hi guys,

I'm currently developing a small little GoogleMail plugin which will basically do following (for now):

Milestone 1
- notify on new mails (configurable check interval)
- list your mailbox
- display single mails

(Milestone 2, don't count to hard on that one for now - maybe even when there finally is a GMailAPI)
- write mails
- list contacts
- beat Outlook functionality wise


But the first thing that kinda hit me was:
Where to put that gmail password

Any suggestions on this, or is MediaPortal.xml appropriate???
The watchdog doesn't zip the xmls or does it?

Sounds nice.

I do not think mediaportal.xml is processed by the logs collector.
However, is it not possible for you to rather use the registry?

Another thing, me and my boss (wife) got different accounts. Do you plan to cater for more than 1 account?

That changed in the mean time. Latest SVN includes mediaportal.xml so no passwords there please
