Inspiration on Channel9 (1 Viewer)

Looked at Channel9 today and saw a very interesting video about the new programming platform (Mcml) for MCE on Windows Vista. Maybe this could inspire our outstanding MP developers?

I watched it and the demo was TOTALLY cool with the home page allowing two direction of scrolling (to limit the number of buttons clicked) and the picture gallery! The gallery was GREAT.

I LIKE that there was bigger thumbnails/icons (the pictures are bigger with LESS "white space" used) and they butted-up the thumbnails back-to-back. I think the thumbnail size we use can be improved upon, but that is just my opinion. What we have now is a great starting point, but it is a start, and I know that we will see great things as we move toward the future with MP.

yeah, the animation stuff of everything is really cool...
hope to see something similar in MP soon too
because such stuff is the future...
and i would love to use mediaportal (because of open source) and not using MediaCenter

I don't expect to see htis until the current 0.2.0.0 version is released and then when the developers want to support XAML. But it may take awhile, don't hold your breath.
