Install MPW on existing Apache (1 Viewer)

I've got already an Apache Webserver running on my HTPC. Is there a way two avoid installing Apache a second time like Media Portal Webinterface Installer does? Just copying the htdocs directory doesn't work. It is necessary to keep my first Apache alive. Any ideas for a workaround?

You can just use MPW on another port than your old apache. Never tried this, but it could work. Otherwise you need to duplicate the whole config of the MPW Apache Server. This is for example also the asp plugin for the webservice files.

The old MPW is no longer supported by the way... (no, there isn't a new one yet )
