Installing new versions of TVE3 (1 Viewer)

Hello,

most likely this has been answered before, but I cannot find anything on this topic:

When installing a new version, I have to uninstall the current TVE3. Afterwards all my settings including the channel list are lost and the recordings database is empty.

Is there any way to circumvent this?

Hi; I'm using TVServer with SQLServer Express. I uninstall and re-install the new SVN, but channels and settings are still here (WinXP pro).

You can try to export the channels (in tvserver configuration) and re-import later...
