Thanks for the compliments on the Zap2it plugin. Unfortunately, recording the stream is against the XM radio terms of service and it is a sore point among previous software developers of XM software (and the software that isn't available anymore for that reason) so I'd rather keep this plugin on the right side of that legal issue and available :) Personally, the quality of the streams (64k WMP9) isn't IMHO that great that I'd want to record it anyway but as an ex-radio DJ (www.u93.com) I tend to be fairly critical of audio fidelity... As for a status update, the polling code is now stable (it is responsible for keeping all the now playing information up to date) and ran overnight with no problems so I'm pretty happy there. I've also got sorting (by channel #, channel name or category) working and filtering by genre. You can also view as a list (as in the screenshot) or small and large channel logo thumbnails. Some of the logos look awful so I'm trying to find better versions for them. Right now it doesn't delete any cover art and I'm not sure how I'm going to deal with that. I know how I want to do it but that requires a change to MediaPortal itself and I'm trying to make this plugin work with 0.2 final. I still need to implement favorites and add some error handling dialogue boxes etc. but I'm thinking (not promising) that I'll have something you can play with in about a week or so. As always, depends on my real job... :)
