Very randomly I will be watching a TV Channel and it will start to pixelate and the sound will click. This will happen uncontrollably and the only way to fix the problem is to change the channel. I can then change the channel back to the original channel and all will be ok. I have attached logs. I know they are not the cleanest logs but this is very hard to capture because it is so random that I got what I could.

Thanks for confirming I am not the only one. Have you heard anything further about the fix. The other thread just seems to stop with no further action and no Dev Team involvement.

Bad signal, could be a driver or tuner HW issue if the channel change is solving the pixelation (caused by dropped data in transport stream data that TsReader sees). Make sure that DVB card's tuner is not overheating.

I don't have the best signal where I live so I do get pixelation but this is more than that. The entire picture starts to pixelate and click and does not stop until I change the channel or as suggested by romuz seek back. Maybe the bad signal could be the start of the problem but if that is the case then it should recover with the signal recovering.

Also I don't remember every having this problem with 1.0.2.

Try seek back, if it helps then its not signal related issue.
    For me it is not.
For me discontinuity is a result of that issue but not the root of it.

    Hi,

I have occasionally seen this, and have no problems with signal quality. I will try to get logs the next time this happens.

I am also having this issue.

Shifting back ALWAYS does solve the issue.

Problem does occur for me only on HD channels but that doesn't mean that it is not there on SD cause i think the codec is just able to pull it off on SD while it fails on HD.

BTW which codec are u guys using for TV?

I want to make sure it is not codec related.

I am using the MPC-MPEG-2 Video Decoder codec and I have had it occur on SD channels.
