Hi,

I'm using 4tr with unc streaming (not supported, I know).
Now, sometimes my tv won't start and recordings have a black screen,
I did some investigation and found a possible cause.

When I start tv when my timeshift share is unavailable (password protected), I get a message "unable to play .."
If I try again, no message is shown (strange). When I enter my password so my shares are available, I still can't turn on tv (no message shown). Then if I try to watch a recording, I only get a black screen, so it seems that something in mp crashed.
I have to restart mp to get anything playing again.

So my conclusion is that tsreader or mp player crashes or so when a .tsbuffer file isn't available.
It doesn't happen with .ts files (recordings).

logs:
-first tuning to art --> unable to play message
-second tuning to EinsExtra --> no unable to play message?? tv not working.
-entered my share password, so my timeshift should be available.
-third tuning to BBC world --> tv not working ?? and no message.
-start watching a recording --> black screen??

    Hi glenn 1990

From a quick glance at your logs, I would say this problem is related to an issue with FTR's TV plugin... which we obviously can't do anything about. However, what happens if you attempt to play recordings while the share password has not been entered and then later enter the share password?

It doesn't happen with recording, only with live tv (so only with .tsbuffer files and not with .ts files).
    The 4tr client calls this:
    Code:
    if (g_Player.Play(fileName))
Where FileName is unavailable, so nothing to do with 4tr I think.

Normally only 4tr users have this problem, mp does't use UNC streaming in multiseat.
