This might be a strange question but I've tried to google all possible solutions without success.
I have a standard HTPC with media portal. When we had analog TV there were no problems but now when we have IPTV instead I'm trying to get this to work with media portal.
I have a regular IPTV box without CI card or anything.
What I'm trying to achieve:
I want to watch my IPTV on my HTPC
I want to be able to record what I'm looking at (timeshift and scheduled)
And additional I would like to be able to schedule recordings on different channels
The last one should maybe be able to achieve by using the IR eye that I have. I can change channels with the HTPC remote but I don't know if you can schedule media portal to change channels that way?
Is the above things doable? What vivo card should I use? I use a dual core 3ghz cpu with 4gb of ram.
