So my new test setup is coming along nicely and now I'm at the point where I need it to change channels on my external dish receiver. I'm using MP 1.2 Beta on a Win7 32-bit installation with 4GB Ram. I followed the instructions here: Set Top Box Blasting - MediaPortal Wiki I was able to have SchedulesDirect plugin add all my channels. I have two PVR-150 PCI Tuner cards installed. I have an MCE IR Transceiver with two IR transmitters, although only one channel with transmit. In my devices it shows up as the eHome Infrared receiver. In the MP TV Server Config program, I can go to Plugins and open up TV3 Blaster Plugin for IR Server and see all my channels. I was able to utilize one of the Dish premade files and can change channels to my hearts content using the test function in here. There isn't much to do with the IRSS Configuration section, but I did exactly what was listed there. I have rebooted. Twice. When I go to TV and bring up the guide and select a channel to IR Blasting takes place at all. This is where I'm lost. Any suggestions? Going on a hunch with the issue that the IR Blaster only blasts on one plug only, I remapped all the channels to just one PVR-150 card, rebooted, tried changing channels. Nothing. So I went and remapped all the channels to the other PVR-150 card, rebooted, and voila! It now changes channels. This is good, except I eventually want to use this box to replace another system, and I need it blasting separately to two external dish receivers, not just one.
