Guess I need some help.
I installed IR server suite today, I have never had luck with it in the past but after nuking all my pc's and rebuilding from scratch I can see the ir suite is in fact working but the up down left right ok and volume buttons are not working.
Not in MP and not on their own. When I run the debug client I get acknowledgement from the other buttons but not these. I had this same problem with RC2 on its own until I edited the MCE Remote XML file to map these functions. Since then MP works fine with its native remote function.
I can still use MP if I disable the IR plugin and go back to the built in system.
Its clear to me that the IR suite is not seeing these requests from teh remote, the debug is silent when I click. however with MP not running and the IR suite running. I can see it respond to all requests but those. To make things more interesting, I can use the remote to scroll up or down, left right all that good stuff if I am in say Notepad. So the OS is responding
But IR suite, she no go.
I am running Windows XP sp3. MP rc2 no svn.

I thought that if I cold find the xml file that the input service uses for the mce remote, and update it I would be good to go. But I have no clue which it is. I also beleive if it works on its own, then this will solve the MP issue.
