IRTrans + MCE remote = 2 steps when I press UP/DOWN (1 Viewer)

Hi,

I have a Zalman HD160 with a IRTrans Receiver and a MCE remote.

In MP setup...

Remote>Microsoft MCE>Use MCE remote is checked
Remote>IRtrans>Use IRtrans receiver is checked

In MP when I press UP or DOWN key... MP makes 2 steps! (like I press the up key 2 times)

Anybody can help me?

is the MCE remote reciever plugged in?

Which version of MP do you have? It looks like one of the recent stable patches addresses this.

I had the same problem and the patch fixed it.

Uncheck "use MCE remote". you only need to enable irtrans. "use mce remote" addresses to the mce-ir-receiver that you may not use, if irtrans is available.

I have uncheked the "use the mce remote" but I have the same problem.

I have MP 0.2.0.3

I don't have the mce receiver. I have a internal mce compatible receiver (zalman HD160) with IRtrans.

There is an file in the IrTrans folder that you need to delete. I can't remember which file at the moment, but will have a look at my system tonight. I'm running the same VFD with IrTrans.

The error and resolution are at the bottom of the IRTrans tab. There you will find a url that takes you off to the fix, you just have to read it.

Use the "search" tools in the forum, this topic has been covered before - remove the file apps.cfg from your IRTrans->remotes directory.
