Is anybody able to compile dShowHelper.dll ? (1 Viewer)

Hi all,

I did all I can but I'm not able to compile this specific CPP solution.

I have VS2005 and I'm able to compile TsWriter.ax/TsReader.ax on both Vista and XP but still no joy with dShowHelper.dll.

I'm missing evr.h !!!

If I use the suggested Windows2003 R2 SDK this file is missing but other CPP filters compile fine.
If I use the Vista SDK, this file is there but nothing compile: both header and lib errors.

Is anyone able to compile this filter ? I really would like to get in depth with the F-Fwd/F-Rwd issue.

EVR comes with .NET 3.0

I'm looking on Microsoft site and I'm not able to find .NET 3.0 SDK for getting the necessary headers and libraries.
Can you be so kind to point me to the right link ?

but using this SDK as mentioned I get a lot of linker error in libs under Vista for all CPP filters (see screenshot).
Also most devs are using XP, so I think there should be a way to compile this under XP too...

Any further idea would be much appreciated...

I have it installed otherwise you cannot even enable EVR under Vista...

so you installed all the 3 packages and do you get any errors now?

no I installed only the .NET 3 runtime.

I'm waiting for someone that can confirm to have compiled the dll under Vista and then go the same way...
I'm a bit tired of going trough a trial&error test...
